Mono Nordic Ski Club's Trail Run
Since 1999 this cross-country ski club has held a trail run to raise
funds for their organization.  Held at Monora Park just north of
Orangeville and west off Highway #10, it is choice between
roller-coaster 5.5 km or 7.5 km routes.  The 2009 date was
October 18th.

Summer Solstice Trail Run
Since 2000 this trail run is organized by Kim Gillies and Karen
Gillies.  The race is held at Mono Cliffs Provincial Park which
includes sections of the Bruce Trail.  A tough 5 km and a tougher
10 km are a cardiovascular challenge.  It is held in the evening, on
or about the longest day of the year, June 19th in 2010.  Some of
the proceeds go to the Bruce Trail Conservancy.

Stride for Life
Since 2008 a fast and flat 5 km trail run through Island Lakes Park.
 This parkland is directly east of the town or Orangeville.  
Organized to support the Island Lakes Public School it encourages
participation by young runners.  The 2010 date was May 15th.

5 Peaks Trail Running Series
These well organized races change venues from time to time.  
They attract 500 plus runners for each of their 5 annual events.  
They have run at both Mono Cliffs Provincial Park and Mansfield
Ski Centre.  They still run at Albion Hills in the Town of Caledon,
south of Highway #9 on Highway #50.  This run includes a Sport
course of 5.5 km, the Enduro course of 13.3 km, and this year a
half marathon.    Race goes October 9th, 2010.

Run for a Petal
This 5 km road race ran in 2005 and 2006 commemorating the life
of Susan Thorpe.  It was a loop in town starting at Tony Rose
Arena.  Proceeds went to Headwaters Hospital.

Destiny Lake Try a Tri
July 17th, 2005.  

Crimestoppers' Cardiac Challenge
Planned for August 2006, it was to run up the Hockley ski slope.  
Unfortunately, poor response led to cancellation.
